For 23 years the Hot Hundred has been The Hottest Ride In The South. We aim to improve the rider experience every year. Come see what all the hype is about!

Route Options

We have five route options ranging in distance from 23 miles to 100 miles. All routes are very well supported with rest stops.

The 2025 Hot Hundred is proud to partner with United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) of West Alabama, with funds raised directly supporting their vital programs and services. UCP of West Alabama empowers individuals with disabilities through advocacy, resources, and community support, and we’re honored to contribute to their mission of fostering independence and inclusion for all. Join us in riding for a cause that makes a lasting impact!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Will there be mechanics on site?

Absolutely. You will frequently see our SAG drivers on the route. They will have basic tools for repairing flats as well as minor adjustments. If you have a more serious problem, SAG drivers will do their best to connect you with a bike mechanic. A mechanic area will also be set up at the start/finish for any issues you may have.

How fast do I have to ride?

The Hot Hundred is not a race, however, there are cutoff times for your own safety. Information on those will be shared before the ride.

How is the route marked?

You will see signs place periodically by the event organizers notifying you of upcoming turns. The roads will NOT be marked with paint this year due to pushback from the county. Because of this, we HIGHLY recommend downloading the route to a phone or cycling computer to navigate you through the routes.

What should I bring?

Safety is our number one concern. It will likely be very hot on the day of the ride. You should have two water bottles on your bike so that you can stay hydrated between rest stops. We would highly recommend sunscreen to protect your skin. Spare tubes are also an excellent choice in case of a flat.

Can I cancel my registration?

You may cancel your registration, however, there are no refunds. All registration fees already paid will be donations to benefit the event benefactor. Updates regarding this years benefactor will be posted soon!

The swag bag was one of the best I’ve received and was probably the best part of the event.
The course was excellent. Rest stops had plenty of food and the volunteers were awesome and more than helpful with anything you needed. First class event.
I love the ride and the cause, will be back again next year! Thanks for a job well done!

Every single rest stop was excellent. I ended up skipping a couple of them but they were well stocked and the volunteers were all very helpful and attentive.
